Remote Learning

What is remote learning?

Remote learning means teaching and learning activities take place in a non face-to-face UCSB lecture, classroom, lab, or field setting. During remote learning communication with professors, teaching assistants, and classmates takes place using a variety of technologies. Lectures, seminars, or sections during summer sessions will likely be delivered online via synchronous (live) and/or asynchronous (on your time) modes. During remote learning students will continue to be responsible for completing readings, assignments, and exams by the stipulated deadlines.
